    I am proud to announce I am a Libertarian Candidate for Ohio's 16th Congressional District.
    We have had legislation coming out of Washington D.C. that has slowly eroded our civil rights and greatly expanded the power of government, a government that has been practicing out of control spending.  These bills have come out of D.C. regardless of which major party is in power.
    Americans still have and understand American principles, however, based on their actions, our legislators do not.
    As your congressman I will introduce and fight for legislation that returns us back to our fundamental American way of life.  We need to reassert our power and limit government to doing the job of protecting the inalienable rights of all Americans.
    We have allowed our elected officials to divide us for far too long.  American principles have been fractured and split among the two major parties and then pitted against themselves to perpetuate what I call "Pendulum Politics."  We swing back and forth between two parties who never truly live up to our expectations.  No true sustainable change can come from continuing this trend.
    You can help affect true, lasting change and restore liberty.  This change must come from within ourselves, and a true voice for liberty must come from among us.
    This is why I ask you to stand with me today for American principles.  We must stand and fight for our principles and values today, or future generations will not know what being American means tomorrow.
    We must let our voices be heard so that, as President Lincoln said, "...this nation, under God, shall not perish from the earth."
